Google Nest Allows You Read To Your Children Even When You Are Apart

The bedtime tale is an appreciated custom between children and parents, and one that upsets the most to miss when dad or mom are not around. But now, Google Nest is rolling out a new action for Assistant that will assist keep story time in line, no matter how far you are away from your children.

Motivated by a military family, My Storytime is a chatty action that allows you record stories when you are away, which are then accessible instantly on Google Nest devices back home. Record new tales or upload current audio files to MyStorytime.com, and they will be played back by instructing the device. All recordings are stored safely in the cloud, and only the user and those the user share them with can authorize them.

The concept for the action arrived in Tennessee from the Oliver family, who made a hack to hear bedtime stories of their dad on a Nest Mini while he was away. As per Google, some 40 Million bedtime tales are missed annually by military kids, even though My Storytime is not only for military families. Grandparents who reside states away, police officers and nurses who work during night, and anybody who travels for work will be capable of relating to the challenge of making an effort to make it for bedtime at home.

On a related note, Sling TV consumers now have one more method to stream their content. Starting this week, Sling TV is accessible on Nest Hub Max and Nest Hub. Consumers can control Sling on those devices with in-built voice controls. They can resume and pause content on Nest Hub Max on Sling with the help of gesture controls—look at the device by holding up your hand to pause. Sling lately made it possible to see TV on mobile browsers, indicating you do not require downloading an app.
